THANK YOU Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church
THANK YOU from those soldiers who liberated Artsakh!
THANK YOU from those soldiers who defended Artsakh!
THANK YOU from those people who moved to Kashatagh to start a new life from scratch and rearmenianize our liberated lands!
THANK YOU from the Hayrenaser non-profit organization for your huge heart and willingness to become the general sponsor of the Moshatagh village school!
THANK YOU from the students, parents and teachers of the Moshatagh village school where they will no more breath the dust from the debris, see the mold on the classroom walls and be distracted by the damaged school environment!
With my family we generally visit the US to raise funds for the Hayrenaser projects in Artsakh. In 2018, Hayrenaser implemented its 6th school project in liberated Kashatagh. To raise funds for the rebuilding and expansion of the Moshatagh village school, I decided to move to Moshatagh for the summer with my daughter Shushi and live next to the villagers, instead of visiting the US for fundraising.
In Moshatagh, I documented the school rebuilding progress and the lives of the villagers. The fundraising was progressing very slowly as I was not in the US to personally knock on donors’ doors. It seemed that I was waiting for a miracle to happen. And IT HAPPENED. A great friend of mine, Fr. Avedis, informed us that Archbishop Hovnan Derderian was inspired by my videos and had expressed his willingness to become the general sponsor of the Moshatagh village school, which will be named after the April war hero Merujan Stepanyan.
Imagine if all the donors were THIS AMAZING – they reach out to you to offer a helping hand, instead of you knocking on their doors for support. A better miracle simply could NOT have happen this summer.
Both personally and professionally it is a huge honor to have such a person like Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church become the general sponsor of a Hayrenaser school rebuilding project.
THANK YOU!!!
